Jacking Castors
Height adjustable jacking castors are designed to facilitate the adjustment of work platforms, machines, and other applications. Ideal for medium and heavy-duty loads, they feature a sprayed black matte finish.
The jacking castors are available with wheel diameters ranging from 150 mm to 250 mm in size and with load capacities of between 400 kg to 2,500 kg. The 150 mm and 200 mm models have a screw jacking system with a 75 mm lift. The 250 mm model has a 150 mm lift and features a 2-way directional lock with a 90˚ travel to the vertical fixing plate.
Please Note:
The castors lift the total load off the floor and therefore each one is liable to carry half the total load. When multiple jacking castors are fitted to a unit / machine it is essential that they are all adjusted simultaneously so that the load is distributed equally over all the castors. To calculate the required minimum castor capacity, use the total weight of the unit plus the load and divide this in half.
