Seafreight container

This heavy-duty castor transport system is specially designed to provide an efficient and easy way to move ISO cargo containers. The "twist locks" are made according to international standard ISO 1161:1984. This allows the Iso wheels to be fitted to all standard sea freight containers. It is fully manual and easy to operate.

Thanks to both types of wheels, the container can be towed by a tractor or even by a small forklift truck. Towing bars are optionally available from Konijnenburg for this purpose. Lightly loaded or empty containers can, due to the low friction of the equipment, be pushed by one or two men.

Steering: when manually parking or manoeuvring in tight spaces is facilitated by the use of steering levers, which in most cases can be attached to swivel castors for containers with a capacity of less than 12 tonnes KG
