ISO Container Mobilisation & Lifting System - "The ICMLS series"

Introducing our state-of-the-art (ISO Container Mobilisation & Lifting System - "The ICMLS series") A robust solution for lifting and moving ISO intermodular freight containers. This heavy-duty system is designed to cater to the demanding needs of logistics operations, including loading NATO cargo aircrafts and is widely used by defence forces.

Description of our container lifting jacks

Our ICMLS container lifting jack system features heavy-duty wheelsets equipped with mechanical lifting jacks, making it the ideal solution for loading and unloading ISO containers into aircrafts. The manual lift and levelling castors are designed to fit seamlessly into the 1161 ISO corner fittings of shipping containers and shelters, ensuring a secure and efficient lift.

The system can handle containers of various lengths and has a technical carrying capacity of up to 35 tonnes. It is versatile enough to be manoeuvred with a towbar, either by a forklift or manually, to the desired location. The sets are made to order, and tailored to specific weight requirements and operational needs.

Benefits

  • Efficient loading and unloading from cargo aircraft.
  • Manoeuvrability in confined spaces and over various terrains.
  • Durable and lightweight construction for ease of use.
  • Capability to move containers in any direction.
  • Independence from cranes or forklifts for towing.
  • Customizable solutions for a wide range of transport applications.

"The ICMLS series" - ISO Container Mobilisation & Lifting System

  • ICMLS wheel sets provide a comprehensive solution for lifting and mobilizing ISO containers, ensuring smooth and reliable operations.
Product Max Load Capacity at 6 KM/H
ICMLS 8 8000KG
ICMLS 15 15000KG
ICMLS 30 30000KG
ICMLS 40 40000KG

Each ICMLS Wheel lifting set is crafted to meet the specific requirements of our clients. Before the creation of each bespoke solution, we engage in a questionnaire process, gathering essential information through our Options Questionnaire:

  • Expected cargo weight of the container
  • Reason for the container's lifting requirement
  • Desired lifting height for the container
  • Applicable safety regulations within the client's industry and country
  • Terrain and environmental conditions, including the presence of slopes, thresholds, or unpaved surfaces
  • Environmental factors such as chemical exposure, temperature, and humidity
  • Requirement for terrain compensation to maintain horizontal cargo alignment
  • Preferred colour finish for the painting

Our manual loading guidelines ensure safety and precision. We calculate the load of the lifting set by dividing the total weight of the container and cargo by three, thus engineering each wheel to withstand 133% of the total load capacity. This meticulous approach guarantees an accurate and engineered solution tailored to each client's unique needs.

Operational Manual

Loading Guidelines

Caution is paramount. The load capacity of each wheel is calculated by dividing the total weight of the container and cargo by three, ensuring each wheel can support 133% of the total load capacity. Uneven terrain or load distribution may affect this capacity, so accurate information is crucial for a tailored solution.

Assembly and Maintenance

The ICMLS system is designed for easy assembly and minimal maintenance. Regular inspections and adherence to maintenance guidelines ensure longevity and optimal performance.

Storage

When not in use, the system should be stored in a dry, clean environment to prevent damage and ensure readiness for future operations.

Caution is needed, we calculate the load of the lifting set by dividing the total weight of the container and the cargo by 3. so every wheel is engineered to 4/3 = 133% of the total load capacity. Skewed terrain or an unevenly distributed load in the container may exceed the maximum load allowed per wheel. please provide us with all the needed information to give you an accurate engineered solution.

ICMLS heavy-duty freight container movement set is designed for moving ISO standard containers over solid ground. The rollers are attached at the bottom at the ISO corners, which ensures a maximum level of stability, and keeps the lateral openings in the ISO corners free for other uses.

Our lifting gantries combine the functions of both a lifting system and heavy-duty rollers in a single unit. This means that they can be used to unload containers from a truck and immediately move the container into a production hall using the same device, hence completely removing the need for an indoor or truck-mounted crane. This can save considerable time, in particular in emergencies. They also make it possible to move containers in constricted spaces. In addition, the auxiliary wheels on each carriage make it possible to quickly and easily position the lifting gantries.

Cost-effective Container Carrier handling concept for lifting and moving containers short distances.
It offers extreme manoeuvrability in any direction when moving heavy containers without the aid of cranes or trucks.

Benefits and Features

Our container lifting jack concept is not only cost-effective but also offers extreme manoeuvrability. The benefits are clear:

  • Effortless loading and unloading from cargo aircraft
  • Easy movement in confined spaces
  • Durable, lightweight construction
  • Capability to move containers in any direction
  • Compatibility with all transport carriers: air, road, rail, or sea
  • Independence from cranes or forklifts for towing

Lifting devices are suitable for lifting containers off the truck and depositing them on the ground without the help of cranes. Our lifting systems are modular in design so that low-cost solutions are available for your specific requirements. A lifting system consists of four lifting supports, with the carrying capacity of individual lifting support amounting to half of the carrying capacity of the lifting system as a whole. Depending on the application of the lifting support, the following technical parameters can be achieved:

  • Container carrying capacity to 30 t
  • Lifting heights from 500 mm to 1,750 mm. Larger heights on request.
  • Attachment to 1161 ISO corners
  • Position Control Innovative inclinometer-based position control is a special characteristic of our lifting systems.

Customer-tailored solutions are available for a wide range of transport applications. In addition to our standard lifting system products, we offer customized designs:

  • Non-standard lifting heights
  • Modified basic carrying capacity
  • Specially adapted mounting and interlocking systems
  • Special base plates
  • Holding fixtures for easy lifting support transportation
  • Tailor-made solutions concerning functionality and intended uses
  • Bogie and trailer units for container transfer

Operational Excellence

Our ICMLS heavy-duty freight container movement set is a testament to our commitment to operational excellence. Designed for the movement of ISO standard containers over solid ground, the rollers attach at the ISO corners, ensuring maximum stability and freeing the lateral openings for other uses.

The integration of lifting gantries with heavy-duty rollers in a single unit is a revolutionary step, allowing for the seamless transition of containers from trucks to production halls, thereby eliminating the need for indoor or truck-mounted cranes.

Our commitment to customer-centric solutions is evident in our bespoke designs, which cater to a wide range of transport applications. From lifting devices that facilitate the transfer of containers from trucks to the ground, to bogie and trailer units for container transfer, our solutions are as versatile as they are reliable.

Our customer-tailored solutions ensure that we meet the diverse needs of the transport industry, providing lifting devices that are not only suitable for a variety of applications but also modular in design for cost-effective customization.
